Slice cheese thinly and evenly using this useful device. The 7-3/4-by-8-3/4-inch platform and the wire arm are made of durable stainless steel in a contemporary brushed finish. Simply raise the arm, slide the block of cheese under it, and lower the arm so that the wire cuts through the cheese to the desired thickness. The wire tension can be adjusted for the hardness of the cheese, and an extra wire is included in case one breaks. Nonslip feet underneath keep the slicer stationary during use. The slicer is imported from Germany and is best cared for when washed by hand.
